Eric Z. Lukosius, M.D.

Dr. Eric Z. Lukosius has been at Cary Ortho since 2021. He specializes in foot and ankle surgery, ankle replacement, fracture care, and general orthopaedics. Dr. Lukosius enjoys getting to know and bond with his patients, but even more so, he enjoys being able to help them get back to doing the things they love.

He attended East Carolina University for both undergrad and medical school. During his residency, he worked at Penn State Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. He then traveled back to North Carolina, where he completed his Foot and Ankle fellowship at Duke University.

While Dr. Lukosius completed his fellowship at Duke, he trained under the leaders in the field and has extensive training in minimally invasive surgery, total ankle arthroplasty and the use of custom 3D implants to help treat his patients.
